JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities & duties include:
- Create CAD designs/drawings from engineering and Design sketches, marks-ups, and verbal instruction
- Produce deliverables for piping systems, equipment layouts, and construction drawings
- Generating Material take off, Bill of Materials, Pipping line List, and Tie-In list
- Ensure designs/drawings are in accordance with P&IDs, equipment lists, company standards, applicable regulations, and customer specifications
- Produce quality pipping design layouts, layouts of various process skids, the orientation of process equipment with nozzle locations, and interconnecting piping- Optimize the design of existing equipment and installations in regard to safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and fabrication
- Attend project model design review meetings
- Report on work status/ problem areas/ needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred education: Associates Degree or Bachelor Degree or Master Degree Prior
- exposure to PDMS is a plus
- 5 years of experience preferred
SKILLS
- Familiarity with 3D design (PDMS/E3D, AutoCAD, Nasisworks, CADWorx, SPD3D, PDS, etc...)
- Strong adaptation capabilities
- Good communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Collaborate within a design team environment, able to share expertise with others
- Resolve issues, coordinate, and communicate with a design team
- Problem-solving, communication, and independent time management
