Violette

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Violette, I am 24 years old and I am from Ancenis (44). I just graduated from a master's degree in Human Resources Management. During this master degree I had the chance to have a work placement contract in Human Resources in a TOTAL subsidiary with more than 600 collaborators.
Apart from work, I like to spend time with my friends and family.

How did you join at ORINOX?

After I graduated I stayed in the company where I was doing my work placement contract but I wanted to try something new and I wanted to progress in my professional life. When I saw the job offer from ORINOX I seized the opportunity to join the company as an HR Assistant. This job allows me to come closer to my friend and family and it also fits perfectly with my aspiration and mindset.

Why did you choose to work at ORINOX?

What I like about ORINOX is that the company is growing really fast and it is still keeping a young mindset. Also, the company offers long-term opportunities which is really attractive for the young working woman I am. Finally, I love challenges and our CEO is always pushes us to reinvent ourselves and give the best of ourselves.

Can you explain us what you are doing as an HR Assistant?

As an HR Assistant I have several missions. The main one is to support Orinoxians in their careers. It means that I am in charge of the training plan, professional interview campaigns and evaluation. I am a support for Maud, our HR manager, in the management of Human Resources, and in the management of social relations with employee representative institutions.

What motivates you on a daily basis?

What makes me come everyday at work is that ORINOX trusts me and challenges me. I can see the added value of my work everyday which is pushing me to progress and try to do my best.

What is your personal motto?

"If you take care of your employees they will take care of your company" to quote Richard Branson

Which women in History have inspired you the most, and why?

I don't have any in particular, but I would say Coco Chanel or Edith Piaf.
Otherwise, I admire my grandmother, she is a strong, caring, generous and smart woman in all circumstances! She is the pillar of the family.

What does International Women's Day mean to you?

I would not say that I am feminist but humanist. Of course the International Women's Day is still really important for every women in this world but I wish that one day we just fight for human rights on a (single) equal footing for men and women.
