What attracted you to ORINOX?

Mathieu : In March 2012, I was behind the purchase of RG Services by ORINOX. Back then and still now, I appreciate the way ORINOX shares knowledge and experiences with young employees. Moreover, ORINOX let me supervise the opening of Lyon offices. It was a real challenge and I loved it!

Thibault : What attracted me to ORINOX was the Start-Up mind. I really enjoy working in a company with growth prospects. I also appreciate the simplicity and the goodwill of Orinoxians.

Julien : I joined ORINOX because the spirit of sharing, helping each other, and the career opportunities are values which seduced me.

Léo : After my first look on the job description and the website, I automatically felt that I wanted to be part of ORINOX. I especially liked the young, dynamic, and innovative mind of the company. I also appreciated that ORINOX was working within the context of general installation.

What do you do to help the digitalization journey of industrial companies?

Mathieu : As a Design Office Manager, my purpose is to ensure the best consistency between the information the client provides us and, the standards imposed (equipment dimensions, installation recommendations, maintenance space and procedure, installation ergonomics, etc). To do this, we chose to work with high-performance software that allow the integration of these data in an interconnected environment including the AVEVA suite and the tools developed by ORINOX (OMR, OX Simulator, OX Dashboard). Our people develop and implement technology processes and methods which accelerate industrial digitalization and improve the effectiveness of clients projects in a smooth and sustainable way. Our main goal is to lead our clients into the "4.0 industry "

Thibault : ORINOX has developed a wide range of services and products to support our customers in their digitalization and transition to the "4.0 industry "
As a Business Manager, I support our clients by listening to their needs and offering them the best suitable solutions.

Léo : As a Development Engineer I imagine, propose and develop tools, around the AVEVA Suite in order to meet the needs of our clients. The main goal is to improve user productivity, task flexibility, and the quality of the final deliverables.

Julien : My main task is to participate in the development of a technical study from a customer request. To do this, I use AVEVA solutions and the general technical installation knowledge I have at my disposal.

How would you describe the growth at ORINOX?

Mathieu : I think that our growth has been able to adapt the market changes and to support our most loyal customers throughout the years. We have also managed to structure and surround ourselves with trustworthy people and, our training "academy" allows us today to ensure a high level of competence.

Thibault : ORINOX's growth is interesting because it has been controlled since its creation. 10 years later, we have nearly 150 employees with international offices and we are dealing with all main industrial actors using the AVEVA Suite. Our expertise is recognized by customers but also by our partner AVEVA who acknowledges our expertise as an "Accredited Services Partner" which is a great distinction.

Léo : ORINOX's growth has been and still is strong and stable. Beyond technical assistance, ORINOX has also been able to innovate and make a difference by offering services and products with high potential.

Julien : I have only been here since September 2018, but what I can say is that ORINOX is constantly evolving and increasing its growth each year. So far so good !

What does digitalization mean at ORINOX?

Mathieu : Beyond this term, there is a very specific goal, which consists in giving a simple and controlled access to valid data to all actors of an industrial project : from the engineering, to the operation and then the maintenance phases. ORINOX is working on the implementation of these environments and the processes for integrating these data, ultimately allowing better control of the entire life cycle of industrial installations.

Thibault : Digitalization is the conversion of text, pictures, or sound into a digital form. The purpose is to have a digital twin from physical assets. It came up because of the explosion of the use of Data in the industrial field and its uses through the development of Artificial Intelligence. Benefits of the digitalization are multiple for the production, maintenance, design and even dismantling of industrial sites.

Léo : At ORINOX, our purpose is to lead customers on their digitalization journey. It means providing them with methods and tools capable of creating and maintaining a connection between all their data from the physical asset to the digital one. This data interaction offers a better data visualization, a better predictability of processes, and above all, a more efficient communication between the different departments.

Julien : The digitalization is the process of interpreting tangible data in order to create a digital twin, which will help the production, maintenance, design and even dismantling of industrial sites.

What candidate profiles are you looking for to join the Lyon office?

Mathieu : Above all, it is essential that the people who join us, fits with ORINOX philosophy.

Thibault : In Lyon, ORINOX owns its proper design office as well as its training room. Thus it make us able to offer our customers the best services possible. Indeed, we can deal with general installation or application engineering, and also provide training on AVEVA suite.
We’re in fact constantly looking for engineers and technicians who like conception and digitalization. Being able to go around the country is the best criteria. Indeed, Orinoxians have to move a lot in the region depending on the projects. Our customers are based in Lyon because of the chemical valley, but also in Cadarache (CEA/ITER), Marseille or Grenoble etc.
