Discovery of ORINOX during company visits
Two trainees of 10th grade, Alexis and Arthur visited ORINOX during company visits organized by the Community of Communes Châteaubriant-Derval and the House of Employment of Châteaubriant. For their 10th grade observation internship, they spent 3 days at ORINOX in order to discover life at a company. However, the two students already had a first glimpse of company’s life, thanks to the Micro-enterprise option.
Presentation of Schum’à l’heure
Back to school 2017 :
As part of the Micro-Entreprise option at the Robert Schuman College in Châteaubriant (Loire Atlantique), a group of 26 students from the 10th grade, supervised by two teachers, decided to start their own business.
That’s how “Schum’à l’heure” was born!
Their goal?
Raise funds for a non-profit organization, Saint Do Solidarité, located in Nantes, France, to build schools in Senegal.
What are they doing?
They sale clocks and bags made from fabrics from Senegalese villages.
How do they work?
Just like grown-ups, the company is well organized:
- HRD: Marine
- CEO: Alexis
- Financial Manager: Martin
- Production Manager: Eva
- Communication Manager: Arthur
- Marketing Manager: Brendan
and all their employees who actively participate in the success of this micro-enterprise!
In order to start their business, they have appealed to generous donors in the form of a repayable advance: this sum will be returned or offered to the company at the end of the experiment.
It’s a beautiful project : congratulations to this micro-company! To follow them on Instagram, just click HERE!
