Throwback to the AVEVA World France 2019

This year, AVEVA organised the event “AVEVA World France” at “La Maison de la Radio, Paris” on the 4th of June 2019. As the Regional Sales Manager for Southern Europe at AVEVA, Fabien DUFRENET, said during his introduction, La Maison de la Radio is not an insignificant place for this event. Opened By General De Gaulle in 1963, La Maison de la Radio is a an extraordinary building looking towards the future and innovation just like AVEVA.

During the morning session, our technical lead Raphaël BOCHE and our business manager Thibault PORTE had the opportunity to talk with clients at our booth. It was the occasion for them to present our services and particularly ORINOX Dashboard thanks to a short video made by Alexia BOUDEY and a demonstration of the software led by Raphaël BOCHE.

Then, we entered the well known studio 104 where we had the chance to follow several speeches from AVEVA collaborators, such as:

• Julien DE BEER about “The digital transformation for innovation at AVEVA”.
• “Industry 4.0, from design to maintenance” presented by Benjamin LOUBET and Antoine DAGHER involving a live demonstration.
• Then, Eric POUPRY dealt with “AVEVA's Monitoring & Control offer” with Wonderware France. This was an interesting discovery for us. Wonderware is a software that enables operational excellence across all industries, providing deep operational insight as the basis of real-time performance management.

After lunch, the participants split into 2 groups in order to follow two separate sessions in parallel. One for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and the other focused on Owner Operators (OOs).

During the EPC session, AVEVA and its collaborators presented new and future features of the AVEVA suite:
AVEVA Insight "People. Operations. Connected" by AVEVA Wonderware: A secure web platform for collecting, storing, visualizing, and analyzing industrial data to accelerate and optimize business decisions.
The development of AVEVA E3D 3 which focuses on the naval sector. b will offer better cable and cable tray management as well as better imports and exports of IFCs. Furthermore, E3D 3 will help in the creation of 3D objects from 2D schematics.
Finally, AVEVA E3D will integrate AVEVA BOCAD.

In the coming years, AVEVA wishes to develop AVEVA Unified Diagram and Unified Digital Engineering.

During the session focused on OO, we discovered solutions for operators and assets through the development of Maintenance 4.0, i.e. all AVEVA VR and AR solutions. We also listened to Frédéric VERPILLAT - Predictive maintenance manager at Air Liquid about "Air Liquide & AVEVA Priam", a rapid large-scale solution to meet the group's digital strategy. AVEVA Priam places a probe on a machine that will give data in real time about its status. This software allows users to set up predictive maintenance in order to avoid any malfunction or failure of machines.

The day ended with a cocktail reception with live music. This was an occasion for our ORINOX team to exchange one last time with the other participants and AVEVA employees.

We would like to thank AVEVA for organizing this event at the Maison de la Radio. It was a great opportunity for us to discover the development and innovations of the AVEVA suite while meeting customers and partners who want to take the path of digitization journey.
