“It all starts with an idea,” according to the video that opened the AVEVA World Conference, the ultimate gathering of players in digital industrial transformation worldwide. The event was a chance for Orinox to explore market priorities, get a better sense of opportunities for transformation and sit down with global industry experts.
The motto of the 2019 edition was: “Accelerate technical innovation and empower your team’s future.” Thousands of professionals from the manufacturing, mineral, metal, oil, and gas industries convened at the Universal Studio Resort in Orlando, Florida. It was a prime opportunity for these industries, each dealing with highly strategic transformation issues, to meet experts capable of offering them custom solutions tailored to their specific needs.
In this highly competitive environment, Orinox is positioned as the premier source of AVEVA solutions expertise for the processing, energy and marine industries. As a global digitalization partner of Owner-Operator (OO) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies, Orinox provides clients with support at every step of their industrial project in order to accelerate digitization processes. “Our goal at this event is basically to highlight our presence on American soil and to teach users about AVEVA software,” explains Orinox Manager Maxime Guillois (pictured below at the Orinox stand), who heads North American development. “Implementing engineering software like AVEVA is a complex process that requires expertise. AVEVA clients appreciate having the opportunity to connect with technical partners at these events.”
As an AVEVA Accredited Services Partner, Orinox offers cloud solutions that enable users to collaboratively and securely manage every aspect of their engineering projects, from data compliance checks to cost and follow-up analysis. Orinox integrates and manages AVEVA and Autodesk solutions on both cloud and on-premise infrastructures. The company’s high level of technical competency, together with the demonstrable success of numerous client projects, has already won over such illustrious partners as Google, Amazon AWS, Microsoft, Autodesk and Citrix.
It bears mentioning that the firm SOFEC, another Orinox client in attendance, delivered presentations on two of its projects at the event. The first addressed Orinox’s pivotal role in the culture shift that the company underwent when new solutions (AVEVA and Orinox Cloud) were rolled out. The second focused on Orinox Cloud and the path to right-sizing IT infrastructure.
The conference also provided opportunities for attendees to discuss their experiences with experts. Maxime Guillois recalls, “We took part in a panel discussion, along with experts from Dupond and Technip FMC, on overcoming obstacles to collaboration between Owner-Operators and EPCs: ‘EPC2.0: Take Back Control over Your Engineering and Design Process.’”
Industry is constantly evolving as a result of visionary experts who have a profound understanding of their field. Orinox, with its commitment to the digitization of industry, is among these innovators. If you want to get an idea of what the future of industry looks like, the AVEVA World Conference – the ultimate digital accelerator – is the place to go.
Let’s not forget that Orinox has now been active in the U.S. for six years and offers a cloud environment featuring pre-installed AVEVA solutions (including Autodesk) for faster installation. Orinox provides solutions for Sofec, SoCalGas, K+S, Argus, Hilti, Husky Energy, Bruce Power, and more.
