On the occasion of its annual day last January 31st, a substantial majority of the Orinox team met at the Hôtel de la Ferrière in Châteaubriant. Let us look back at this event that succeeded in combining exchanges and conviviality.
What one will notice when entering the conference hall is that the Orixonian team widens every year. In 2019, 40 new associates joined the technical and administrative departments.
This workforce growth goes along with the excellent results performed during the passed year, with the turnover increasing by 38% and customer satisfaction reaching 90%.
Thus, these results suggest great prospects for the future, especially since ambitious objectives have been set for 2020 : to increase the turnover by 52%, to reach 300 collaborators and to preserve customer satisfaction, or even better, to improve it.
Orinox has incorporated Sébastien Laheux, new Head of Operations, to reach these goals. He is one of the 40 new collaborators and was introduced to the assembly on that occasion. He is responsible of promoting our offers and directing our business throughout France, alongside Maxime Fourreau.
Cooptation is put in the spotlight as well, being one of 2020 important highlights. Thereby, each employee can recommend one or more applicants for available positions. This initiative is praised and is already proving itself efficient. Indeed, about 35% of newcomers were hired via cooptation in 2019.
International expansion also constitutes a challenge for 2020. Thanks to its forces based in France (Châteaubriant, Lyon, Paris), but also in the USA (Houston), in Canada (Calgary) and in Malaysia (Kuala-Lumpur), Orinox is able to expand and meet the international markets needs.
The AOD is not only about strategic proposals, but it also allows the different departments and teams from everywhere to share and exchange. That day was punctuated by a wide range of workshops in which everyone could take part in, discover new tools, try new products and get acquainted with the various alternatives constituting the Orinox range.
Now, here at Orinox, we know how to be serious without being too serious, which is why the team building workshop turned its participants into « speed demons ». The goal for each team was to build a car with whatever they could find: cardboard, paper, cups, strings... Legend has it that some of these creations could actually be driven !
The Annual Orinox Day, during which each and everyone was able to proudly fly Orinox values, ended with a lovely festive evening.
